Southwest District Health (SWDH) is responsible for ensuring the protection of public health. If you feel that
public health issues exists and are willing to provide a description of the complaint and submit your name and other
information SWDH will conduct an Investigation. SWDH will only conduct investigations if the complaint is valid and
is a public health issue as determined by SWDH.
Examples of public health concerns can be:
- Illegal Dump Sites
- Potential Disease Carrying Rodents and Insects
- Malfunctioning Septic Systems or Sewage Open to the Public
Depending on your location and circumstances your concerns may also be handled by regulatory authorities other than
SWDH, for these situations SWDH will be happy to direct you to the appropriate regulatory authority.
